Top 10 Summer Apparel Buys for the Family

Summer is my favorite time because it means beach trips, ice cream, and camping with my family and friends! But this year, I noticed our summer clothes were a mess. My sandals are too small, my shirts have holes from playing too rough, and Dad’s shorts are so old they’re practically ancient. Mom said we needed new stuff but didn’t want to spend a ton, so I asked if I could help pick out clothes. For the beach glow Mom deserves, a dress that’s fancy but not too fussy so I picked the Princess Polly Button Front Linen Blend Maxi Dress from Nordstrom. It’s perfect for hot days, and you can wash it in the machine. Mom wore it to a barbecue, and she looked like a movie star.

Kids' Crocs Classic Clogs

My sandals hurt, and Ethan’s sneakers get soggy at the beach. I found Kids’ Crocs Classic Clogs. They’re waterproof, super comfy, and come in bright colors (I got blue, Ethan got green). We wore them to the lake, and they’re awesome. For about $30 each pair, they’re our summer faves.

Ethan and I get sunburned, and I hate sunscreen goo. I picked the Roxy Kids’ Outline Rash Guard Set from Nordstrom. It’s a long-sleeve top and shorts with sun protection. We wore them to the pool, and they’re so comfy. At $44.99 each, they’re our water fight armor.
